    Men's boxers and trunk underwear have a longer out seam than briefs. Leg lengths change according to the boxer silhouette. A 'trunk' is often used to describe a shorter-legged boxer, between the middle and upper thigh areas. A Hipster trunk has the shortest length, sometimes slightly longer than the cut on a brief. A boxer brief has a length from the mid-thigh area, often referred to as a 'boxer' or 'midway boxer'. Most European countries call trunks a 'boxer' and then use 'trunk' to define a swimming trunk or swimwear boxer.
