TARIFFS & CUSTOMS CHARGES
You should not be charged import duties or sales tax for orders under $800 where the goods are not of Chinese origin. The de minimis threshold remains in place for products not made in China. You can see the country of manufacture on every product page, which allows you to plan to avoid tariffs. Please see each product page's 'Customs, Origin, Tariffs & EU GPSR Data' section.
TIMESCALES
For Royal Mail/USPS services, orders placed before 3pm GMT are dispatched on the same day. Parcels are passed to US Customs and Border Protection upon entry into the USA. Customs clearance timescales are not guaranteed, and the estimated delivery times do not include customs delays. It usually takes a few days to clear a parcel. Once cleared, it is passed to USPS. They usually provide an estimated delivery date on their website tracking.
For Fedex services, orders placed before 11am GMT are dispatched on the same day. Fedex clears parcels using their own customs import process, which is faster, usually one day, but they still have the right to inspect and delay parcels. Fedex will deliver the parcel, it is not passed to another courier or local postal service.
ORDERS OVER 2KG
Royal Mail services only allow parcels up to 2kg in weight. If your order exceeds this, we will split the order into two parcels.
TRACKING
You will receive an email confirmation with tracking details when your parcel is dispatched. Please check your junk mail folder if you have not received this. While Customs and Border Protection has the parcel, the tracking will not show information. This is perfectly normal, it does not mean the parcel is lost. When Customs clear the parcel and passes it to USPS, tracking will start on their website. We cannot contact Customs Authorities while they are processing parcels.
Parcels are not considered to be lost until 20 working days after dispatch. This provides US Customs and Border Protection enough time to process delayed parcels.
